Club Management

Our tennis club is a voluntary organisation registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club. 

The management committee are elected each year by the members at the AGM.

The committee is responsible for maintaining and improving the facilities.  To this end, the committee sets and collects the membership and guest fees and organises fund raising events. 

The club is constituted as a Company Limited by Guarantee and therefore the committee members are actually directors of the company. This is to limit the committee member’s liabilities in a court of law.   Annual accounts are filed with Companies House.

We are always looking for more people to join us – we are a friendly group and like to think we fulfil our remit, but also have fun along the way.
