Time4Tennis Club Leagues

Our intra club leagues are up and running again.  In order to improve the leagues we have decided to join with Jubilee Park Tennis Club at Woodhall Spa for this event.  This will create a better variety of competition with more players competing.

There will be a singles league and doubles for ladies and mixed pairs. If enough men are interested we will run a men’s doubles too.  All abilities are catered for with a promotion/relegation system in place to ensure you play players of a similar ability as often as possible.

The system is quite simple – once entries are in, we will display the leagues on the notice boards at Jubilee and Horncastle.  It is then up to players to contact their opposition and arrange to play the matches before the end of each month.  Matches can be played at Horncastle or Jubilee courts - to be agreed between opposition. Results then need to be filled in on the league sheets.

Matches played over an hour or first to 12 games.

The leagues will run from October to April and trophies will be awarded in each category. Coaching vouchers will also be awarded in each category to individuals and pairs for every 8 matches played.

We hope as many of you as possible will wish to join the leagues but would ask that if you enter you make every effort to play your matches.  Points can only be awarded for matches played.

We look forward to receiving your entries. Players can join or leave the leagues at the beginning of each month.
